W. Reilly Marchant is a circuit court judge for the 13th Judicial Circuit in Virginia. He was elected to the court by the Virginia General Assembly on November 10, 2014, to fill the vacancy created by the retirement of Judge Richard D. Taylor, Jr. Marchant assumed office on January 1, 2015, for an eight-year term expiring on December 31, 2022.[1][2][3][4]

Education

Marchant received his undergraduate degree from Georgetown University and his J.D. degree from the University of Richmond School of Law.[5]

Career

Before he became a judge, Marchant was a partner at the law firm of Marchant, Thorsen, Honey, Baldwin & Meyer, LLP in Richmond, Virginia.[6]
