  • You are the best person to control your life. I am the best to control mine. As long as you are not affecting others or harming children, you do you. The government should not interfere in the lives of the individual or steal resources from its citizens. Government belongs to its Citizens, NOT the other way around.
  • Talk to your neighbors. Get involved with your community. Join local service organizations such as Elks, Knights of Columbus, VFW, AOH, Rotary, etc. Let’s build our communities up instead of hiding away from each other. We know our neighborhood. To the government, we are just numbers. If we don’t help each other because we are waiting on the government, help will never come.
  • As an individual, you are the smallest minority. As an individual, you can set an example for your peers. As an Individual, you can educate and elevate those around you.

When you find like minded individuals, you can start a movement. Movement gains momentum.

    Momentum moves mountains.
Taxation is theft. Inflation is a Tax on the poor and middle class. Disband the IRS. Income tax should not be levied on individuals making less than $250,000 per year or $750,000 for Families. A flat tax of 3% should be instituted beyond that.

Property taxes should be a minimal for residences. Property Tax should not be levied on vehicles as they are taxed at purchase and when refueled.

The 10th amendment says that any powers not explicate in the Constitution to the Federal Government belong to the States or the People. A vast majority of government institutes violate this. It is the Duty of the States to inhibit these organizations from affecting the People. It is the Duty of the People to inhibit the State.
There are many figures of Historical significance that I would model. I have been fortunate to have a number of mentors, friends and co-workers that have shaped who I am today.
-The Declaration of Independence and The Constitution of the United States are essential reading.

-The Brehon Laws of ancient Ireland are the basis of my legal philosophy.
-Common Sense by Thomas Paine and The American Manual from Joseph Bartlett Burleigh on how a Citizen should interact with their government.
-1984 by George Orwell, Atlas Shrugged by Ayn Rand, The Communist Manifesto by Karl Marx, and Mein Kampf should all serve as warnings to the free world not playbooks for those in Government.

-The autobiographies of Ben Franklin and Malcom X to understand the American Experience.
-Because of Malcom X, I strongly suggest reading the Dictionary. The bigger the better. The plot sucks, the characters need development, but it is a miniature encyclopedia that allows you to elevate your knowledge and vocabulary. Knowledge IS Power.

St Patrick, His confession and Other Works by Fr. Neil Xavier O'Donoghue, The Tao of Pooh by Benjamin Hoff , The Philosophical Strangler by Eric Flint, and How the Irish Saved Civilization by Thomas Cahill are annual reads. They feed my soul and connect me with my ancestry.

There is a wealth of other books that have helped me throughout my life. I am always on the look for good reads. In my current que are Choose your enemies wisely by Patrick Bet-David, That Hideous Strength by CS Lewis, Robot Visions by Isaac Asimov, On a Pale Horse by Piers Anthony
Accountability to the People, Transparency, Integrity, Honor, True and important principles that should be held by leaders. Work ethic and Life Experiences are what gives Wisdom. We all have our opinions, but our ability to find common ground is where we find our Honor and can bring change for the betterment of all.
Representation and upliftment of the neighborhoods in our district. Bringing support for small businesses to grow our economy. Fixing/improving our infrastructure to save residents Wear and Tear on their vehicles and homes. To enact and enforce laws to make our neighborhood safer. To repeal laws that inhibit the growth of our citizens and economy.
My first job was as a cook. I started as an assistant pastry chef and continued working in and out of kitchens throughout my life. I have held numerous jobs in multiple fields including 4 color pressman, Operations Specialist in the USN, Sales, middle school teacher, Microbiologist. I have been in Food Safety and Sustainability on the industry side working in partnership with regulatory for the past couple decades.
"The song that doesn't end" by Shari Lewis.
All political relationships should be collaborative and in the interest of the citizens. The legislature and the Governor should be a check on each other.
Benjamín Franklin has always been a hero of mine. Jefferson as well. In the modern era Dr. Ron Paul has been quite the influence.
2 ducks land in a pond. The 1st duck says "Quack." The second duck says "HEY, I was going to say that."
I'd be willing to serve as needed but I am interested in no particular order:

Workforce & Infrastructure Development
Veterans
Transportation Infrastructure
Special Committee on Small Business
Local Government
Government Efficiency and Downsizing
Emerging Issues
Elementary and Secondary Education
Economic Development
Crime Prevention and Public Safety
Conservation and Natural Resources
Budget

Agriculture Policy
ABSOLUTELY ESSENTIAL!

We are extremely over taxed for the goods and services that are reported by the government. If we reduce the size of government and institute safeguards around spending to prevent fraud and waste, we can easily reduce the deficits and lighten or remove the tax burdens of our citizens.
I am watching President Milei's example in Argentina to see if that is the philosophy of action we need here.

I trust a millionaire that becomes a public servant far more than a public servant that becomes a millionaire. I have never been able to understand how public servants on a relatively small salary become almost immediate millionaires.
