Stanley Neron is an at-large representative on the Elizabeth Public Schools school board in New Jersey. He was first elected on November 5, 2013. Neron won re-election in the general election on November 8, 2016.

Biography

Neron earned his bachelor's degree in public administration from Kean University. He is employed by the city of Elizbeth as its director of youth services, and he has more than two decades of experience working in municipal governments and the nonprofit sector.[1]

Three of the nine seats on the Elizabeth Public Schools school board were up for at-large general election on November 8, 2016. Incumbents Stanley Neron and Jose Rodriguez, along with Diane Barbosa, defeated incumbent Carlos Trujillo, Ricky Castaneda, Christina Moreira, Maria Medeiros DaRassi, Sima Farid, Maria Lorenz, and former candidate Virginia San Pedro for the three seats up for election.[2]

Funding

Neron reported $12,600.00 in contributions and $13,902.77 in expenditures to the New Jersey Election Law Enforcement Commission, which left his campaign with $1,302.77 in debt in the election.[3]
