The 11th Congressional District of Pennsylvania held an election for the U.S. House of Representatives on November 8, 2016.
Heading into the election, Ballotpedia rated this race as safely Republican. Incumbent Lou Barletta (R) defeated Mike Marsicano (D) in the general election. Neither candidate faced a primary opponent in April.[4][5]

Pennsylvania's 11th Congressional District is located in the northeast region of Pennsylvania. Columbia, Montour, and Wyoming counties along with parts of Carbon, Cumberland, Dauphin, Luzerne, Northumberland, and Perry counties make up the district.[8]
