Campaign themes

2014

Jones listed his themes for his 2014 campaign on his campaign website:

  • I bring important experience and continuity to the role of Trustee. As a former administrator in a large organization and now a business owner, I am familiar with planning, finance and organizational development.
  • As a sitting Trustee I can carry on the important work with no loss of momentum. Recently, the board hired an outstanding superintendent. It is imperative to his success that he is able to work with those that hired him as long as possible.
  • Our teachers and staff are in dire need of being compensated at a higher rate.
  • Expansion of the Career and Technology Center offerings.
  • Ensure that Allen receives equitable funding from the state.
