Daryl R. Fansler
Daryl R. Fansler was a chancellor for the Knox County Chancery Court in the Sixth Judicial District, which presides over Knox County, Tennessee. He began serving on the court in 1998. In 2006, he was re-elected without opposition to a term that expired in 2014.[1][2]
Fansler was defeated in his bid for re-election on August 7, 2014, and left the court on August 31, 2014.[3][4]

Primary: He ran unopposed in the Democratic primary on May 6, 2014.
General: He was defeated in the general election on August 7, 2014, after receiving 43.4 percent of the vote. He competed against Clarence Pridemore, Jr.

Education
Fansler received his undergraduate degree from East Tennessee State University in 1974 and his J.D. degree from the University of Tennessee in 1982. He later attended the National Judicial College at the University of Nevada, Reno in 2000.[5]
Career
Fansler worked as a trial lawyer and civil mediator in private practice from 1983 until he became a chancellor in 1998.[1][5]
