Wallace R. Hoggatt

Wallace R. Hoggatt is a judge for the Cochise County Superior Court in Arizona.[1] Previously, Hoggatt served as presiding judge of the Cochise County Superior Court. His term in that position ended on December 31, 2012, when he was replaced by James Conlogue.[2] Hoggatt was first appointed to the court in 1996. He was re-elected in 2014.[3] His term expired on January 6, 2019.[4]

Education
Hoggatt earned his J.D. from the University of Arizona School of Law.[7]
Career
Hoggatt began practicing law in Sierra Vista in 1979. In 1984, he became the first public defender appointed in Cochise County after state law created the positions. In 1996 Hoggatt was appointed to the Cochise County Superior Court to replace former Judge Jim Riley.[7]
