Charles Glasrud

Charles Glasrud was appointed to the Minnesota Eighth Judicial District by Gov. Mark Dayton on May 12, 2011. He replaced retired Judge Peter Hoff.[1][2][3] He ran for election in 2012. His current term expires in 2019.
Education
Glasrud received his B.A. degree from Kenyon College in 1977 and his J.D. degree from Cleveland State University, Cleveland-Marshall College of Law in 1981.[1]
Career
Prior to his judicial appointment, Glasrud worked as a Stevens County Attorney, a City Attorney for Morris, MN (and nearby cities) and as a private practice lawyer with the firm of Glasrud & Economou, P.A. He was appointed to the 8th Judicial District Court in May of 2011.[1]
Elections
2012
Glasrud ran unopposed in the general election November 6, 2012.[4] He received 99.45 percent of the vote.[5] He received 99.45 percent of the vote.[6]
