Carl F. Parrish
Carl F. Parrish was a candidate for a seat on the Fifth Division of the Superior Court, (District 21B) in North Carolina. He withdrew from the race on March 19, 2012.[1]
2012 election
Parrish removed himself from the race on March 19, 2012 after his opponent, David L. Hall, challenged him on the residency requirement. Parrish stated, "I have decided that I cannot meet the burden of proving all the requirements necessary to establish residency and will request the local board of elections to remove my name from the ballot."[2]
