Josephine Mooney
Josephine H. Mooney (also known as Jodie) was a judge for Position 1 of the Oregon Court of Appeals. She assumed office on May 17, 2019. She left office on October 31, 2024.
Mooney won re-election for the Position 1 judge of the Oregon Court of Appeals outright in the primary on May 19, 2020, after the general election was canceled.
Mooney was appointed to this position by Gov. Kate Brown (D).[1]
At the time of her appointment to the appeals court, Mooney was serving as a judge on the 2nd Judicial District in Oregon. She had been appointed to that position by Gov. John Kitzhaber in August 2011.[2]

Before joining the court, Mooney worked as director of risk management and organizational integrity at PeaceHealth Oregon. She has also worked in private practice.[2]
