Shanon Riley
Shanon Riley is a judge on the New Mexico Workers' Compensation Administration Court.[1] She was appointed to the court on August 8, 2011, and assumed office on August 20.[2][3][4]
Education
Riley received her bachelor's degree in criminal justice from the University of New Mexico in 1993 and earned her J.D. from the University of New Mexico School of Law in 2001.[1]
Career
At the time of her appointment, Riley had been practicing law in New Mexico for 10 years. Prior to joining the court Riley served as assistant district attorney in the 1st Judicial Court District in Santa Fe; she also spent three years as the general counsel for the Department of Military Affairs. Riley also worked as an analyst for the House Judiciary Committee, an attorney for the Albuquerque Law Firm of Sheehan, Sheehan & Stelzner, P.A. and as a trial attorney for the Second Judicial District Attorney's Office.[1]
