Diana A. Bustamante is the judge for the Dona Ana County Probate Court in Dona Ana County, New Mexico.[1] She was elected to the court in November 2014, and assumed office on January 1, 2015. Her term expired on December 31, 2018.[2]

Bustamante ran for election to the Dona Ana County Probate Court.
Primary: She was successful in the Democratic primary on June 3, 2014, receiving 55.7 percent of the vote. She competed against Yolanda G. Lucero.
General: She was unopposed in the general election on November 4, 2014. [2][3] 

Education

Bustamante received both her undergraduate and master's degrees from the University of Arizona-Tempe. She received her Ph.D. from the University of California-Riverside.[4]

Career

Before her election to the Dona Ana County Probate Court, Bustamante served as the executive director for the nonprofit organization, Colonias Development Council (CDC). She also previously worked as an assistant professor of sociology at New Mexico State University.[4]
