Lisa Chimera
Lisa Chimera (Democratic Party) was a member of the Erie County Legislature in New York, representing District 3. She assumed office on July 8, 2021.
Chimera (Democratic Party, Working Families Party) ran for re-election to the Erie County Legislature to represent District 3 in New York. She won in the general election on November 2, 2021.
Chimera temporarily resigned from the legislature on July 24, 2021, to collect her pension from Kenmore-Tonawanda school district. New York state law prohibits employees on public payrolls from collecting their pensions while they are still on any government payroll.[1] Chimera was reappointed to the legislature on July 6, 2021.[2]
