Biography

Education

Burgess received his B.S. from California State University and his J.D. from Loyola Law School.[1]

Career

Prior to joining the court in 2011, Burgess practiced law in Denton County for 14 years and worked as a fraud auditor for McDonnell Douglas while attending graduate school.[1]

Awards and associations

Burgess has passed both the California State Bar and the Texas State Bar examination.[1]
