The New Jersey Public Question No. 2 was on the ballot in New Jersey on November 6, 1984, as a legislatively referred bond question. It was approved. The Shore Protection Act of 1983 authorized $50 million in bonds for state shore preservation projects and grants to county and municipal governments for similar projects.[1]
