A Glen Lake School District Bond Measure was on the May 8, 2012 ballot in the Glen Lake school district area which is in Benzie and Leelanau Counties.
This measure was approved[1]
This measure sought to issue a bond in the amount of $1.9 million in order to help pay for upgrading technology, general remodeling of buildings and buying new buses for the district.[2]
Text of measure
The question on the ballot:
| Shall Glen Lake Community Schools, Leelanau and Benzie Counties, Michigan, borrow the sum of not to exceed One Million Nine Hundred Ten Thousand Dollars ($1,910,000) and issue its general obligation unlimited tax bonds therefore in one or more series, for the purpose of: acquiring and installing educational technology for school facilities; remodeling, equipping and re-equipping school facilities for technology; and acquiring school buses?[3] |
