Two Muskegon City Charter Amendment measures were on the November 2, 2010 ballot in the city of Muskegon, which is in Muskegon County.

Both measures were defeated

The first measure sought to allow the city to increase the amount which is allowed to be taxes on local property up to 10 mills.

  • NO 4,959 (70.2%)Defeatedd

The second measure sought to impose a property tax of $1 per $1,000 of assessed property value in order to help pay for road construction, repair and maintenance in the city.[1]
