The question on the ballot:
| Shall the previous voted increase in the tax limitation imposed under Article IX, Section 6 of the Michigan Constitution on general ad valorem taxes within Summerfield Township be renewed at 2 mills ($2.00 per $1,000 of taxable value) for the period of 2013 through 2016, inclusive, to provide funding for the Summerfield Township Fire Department; and shall the Township levy such renewal in millage for said purpose during such period, thereby raising in the first year of such levy an estimated $240,484.92?[3] |
