James T. Locatelli was a judge for the Municipal Courts of New Mexico. He first joined this court in 2001.

He resigned from the court on November 20, 2010 after being suspended without pay beginning in October of 2010. The suspension was a result of accusations that Locatelli threatened a court employee and improperly dismissed hundreds of cases.[1][2]
