Austin Michael Carrizales
Austin Michael Carrizales (Democratic Party) ran for election to the Texas House of Representatives to represent District 84. Carrizales lost in the Democratic primary on March 6, 2018.
Carrizales previously was a 2014 judicial candidate for the Lubbock County Court in Texas.[1]
Biography
Austin Michael Carrizales graduated from Lubbock High School. He earned a bachelor's degree in political science from Texas Tech University, a master's degree in public administration from Texas Tech University in 2013, and a J.D. from Texas Tech University in 2013. Carrizales' career experience includes working as an intern for U.S. Congressman Henry Cuellar and a lawyer with Austin Carrizales Law, PLLC.[2]

Carrizales ran for election to the Lubbock County Court.
Primary: He ran unopposed in the Democratic primary on March 4, 2014.
General: He was defeated in the general election on November 4, 2014, after receiving 26 percent of the vote. He competed against Thomas V. Head.

Carrizales received an undergraduate degree in political science from Texas Tech University.[4] He went on to concurrently earn a masters in public administration and a J.D. from Texas Tech in 2013.[5]
