Brent Renteria ran for election to the Dane County Board of Supervisors to represent District 15 in Wisconsin. Renteria lost in the general election on April 3, 2018.

Renteria was previously a 2014 Republican candidate for District 79 of the Wisconsin State Assembly.[1]

Biography

Brent Renteria earned a bachelor's degree in information technology from Herzing University. His career experience includes working as an operations analyst at Humana. Renteria was elected as a board supervisor in the town of Middleton, Wisconsin in 2015. He is a volunteer firefighter at the Middleton Fire Department.[2][3]

Elections for all 99 seats in the Wisconsin State Assembly took place in 2014. A primary election took place on August 12, 2014. The general election was held on November 4, 2014. The signature filing deadline for candidates wishing to run in this election was June 2, 2014. Incumbent Dianne Hesselbein was unopposed in the Democratic primary. Brent Renteria was unopposed in the Republican primary. Hesselbein and Renteria faced off in the general election.[1][4] Incumbent Hasselbein defeated Renteria in the general election, and was re-elected for another term.[5]
