Casey Askar is a successful self-made businessman and U.S. Marine running to represent Southwest Florida in Congress.

Askar's life story embodies the American Dream. On his 7th birthday, Casey and his parents came to America, fleeing religious persecution in Iraq, seeking safety, opportunity, and above all - freedom. At 18, Casey knew he had to give back to the country that gave him so much. He joined the U.S. Marine Corps.

In the years that followed, Casey would go on to start, buy, build, and run a massive portfolio of businesses from the ground up. Today, Askar employs thousands of people across the country and is one of the largest franchisees for various multi-national brands, such as Church's Chicken and Dunkin' Donuts.

Casey is a dedicated husband and proud father of six children, all active parishioners at St. Ann's Church in Naples. The Askar family proudly supports his children's schools, including the University of Miami, the Community School of Naples, and St. Ann Catholic School. Casey, a veteran of the Marines, also contributed to Ave Maria, in support of the Veteran Memorial Law Library. The family is also involved in and supports the Golisano Naples Children's Museum.
  • Like President Trump, I'm not a career politician. Americans are sick and tired of career legislators that enrich themselves instead of serving the people who elected them. That's why I'm a strong believer in federal term limits.
  • As a self-made businessman, I know what it's like to pull yourself up from your bootstraps and start with nothing in your pockets. I will always pursue policies that stimulate the economy, create greater opportunities for working men and women, and allow Americans to keep more money in their pocket.
  • I take the security of our country seriously as a former Marine. As a Congressman, I will protect our 2nd Amendment rights, defend our country against foreign threats such as China, and work with President Trump to secure our border.
I am very passionate about helping our country get back on track with sound fiscal policy and a focus on economic development. I employ thousands of Americans across the country, which gives me a unique perspective on how to help our country's business owners get back on their feet after the unprecedented coronavirus crisis.
