Dale Cheema was a candidate for the Irvine City Council in California. Cheema was defeated in the general election on November 8, 2016.[1]

Although city council elections in Irvine are officially nonpartisan, Cheema is known to be affiliated with the Republican Party.[2]

Cheema received an undergraduate degree in mechanical engineering from the Dartford College of Technology.[3]

As of his run for city council in 2016, Cheema was president of the Elite Group at Keller Williams Realty. His professional experience also includes work as a real estate broker at Re/Max Premier Realty and in sales for First Team Real Estate.[3][4]

Cheema has served as president of the Irvine Association of Realtors, director of the California Association of Realtors, and director of the National Association of Realtors. He was inducted into the Re/Max Hall of Fame and awarded the Re/Max International Lifetime Achievement Award.[5]

Cheema has a son, Alex, and a daughter, Kayla.[6]
