Gary Branae
Gary Branae (b. March 20, 1944) is a former Democratic member of the Montana State Senate, representing District 27 from 2009 to 2013.
Branae earned his B.S. from Montana State University, Bozeman, in 1966. He then received his M.S. from Montana State University, Billings, in 1980.
Branae was an educator for Red Lodge Public School from 1966 to 1969. He then worked as a teacher for Puyallup Public School from 1969 to 1972. He was also a teacher/counselor for Billings Public Schools from 1972 to 1999. From 1999 to 2000 he was a counselor for Rocky Mountain College. He was a youth director for the American Lutheran Church from 2001 to 2006.
Branae served in the Montana House of Representatives from 2001 to 2009.

Branae ran for re-election in the 2012 election for Montana State Senate, District 27. Branae ran unopposed in the June 5 primary election and was defeated by Elsie Arntzen (R) in the general election on November 6, 2012.[1][2]
