Koslowitz (Democratic Party) ran for re-election to the New York City Council to represent District 29. Koslowitz won in the general election on November 7, 2017.

Koslowitz previously represented this district from 1991 to 2001.[1]

Koslowitz previously worked as a legislative aide in the U.S. House of Representatives and the New York City Council.[1]
