|and security consultant. Throughout his service, Matthew has always put the needs of others first.
Matthew will fight for the hardworking people of Virginia’s 36th District, bringing the same dedication from his security career, an unwavering commitment to protect those unable to protect themselves by amplifying the voice for those who are unheard. Matthew is uniquely positioned to serve Virginia’s 36th House of Delegates District.- As a father, Matt believes every child, regardless of race, ethnicity or socioeconomic status deserves a quality education, and that means opening our schools, five days a week, so that students receive that face to face instruction that they deserve. He will fight for the opportunity for every student to have the education he or she deserves in a safe and protected environment.
- Walking hand in hand with reopening our schools, is reopening the economy, without government hinderance, so that parents and people are able to work to provide for themselves and families. Businesses, restaurants and events can and will responsibly operate, they just need the chance to do so.
- As a former Sheriff’s Deputy, Matt knows the challenges that our law enforcement officers face daily. He also understands that they make our communities safer. Our police officers and first responders willingly put their lives on the line to protect us and our families. As Delegate, Matt will defend these American heroes from dangerous proposals such as defunding or disbanding our police departments and work to increase funding for salaries and training to ensure our departments can recruit the best and justly serve our community.
These issues are not partisan issues, but are common sense and that is what I will
I read a lot of historical topics, from all regions of the world, but also like to read fiction for fun as well.
