Do you feel that Wall Street and Washington both are giving you a raw deal? That maybe the elites that run the government and the elites that run the economy are the same elites? That maybe just maybe they don't care one bit about the working and middle classes of this country? That it isn't so much about right vs left; it's about a corrupt corporate-state monopoly? Well, I certainly do! In a nutshell, I think our policies of free and unfair trade and loose fiat money have led to the bleeding away of middle class jobs and to the increasing weak purchasing power of our dollar. No amount of cheap imported junk, fancy programs, or minor adjustments to the tax code are going to alter the fundamentals of this situation. Unfortunately, there's not a whole lot any of us can do at the state level, and I'm afraid Washington DC is going to be corrupt, inept, and under the influence of special interests for the foreseeable future. So, I propose that we do what we can at the local level to take back control of the fundamentals.

Varkuza ran in the 2012 election for Montana House of Representatives, District 92. Varkuza ran unopposed in the June 5 primary election and was defeated by incumbent Bryce Bennett (D) in the general election, which took place on November 6, 2012.[2][3]
