Tom Glause
Tom Glause is a former Wyoming Commissioner of Insurance. He was appointed commissioner by Governor Matt Mead (R) on January 3, 2015.[1][2] He stepped down in 2019 in order to become the chief operating officer of the Professional Rodeo Cowboys Association (PRCA).[3]
Biography
Before his appointment to statewide office, Glause served as Vice Chairman of the Wyoming State Board of Equalization.
After earning his J.D. from the University of Wyoming in 1987, Glause began his legal career as deputy county prosecutor in Weston County. From there, Glause segued into a 15-year run in private practice, which ended in 2005 when he was appointed Municipal Court Judge for the City of Rock Springs.[1]
In addition to his law degree, Glause holds a bachelor’s degree in accounting from the University of Wyoming.[1]
