Steve St. Clair was a 2016 Republican candidate for District F of the Alaska State Senate.

Campaign themes

2016

St. Clair's campaign website highlighted the following issues:

God, family, country:

  • These were once the foundations of our society; we need to return to them.

Veterans:

  • As a disabled veteran, it is appalling to see how some have been treated. We must fix this injustice and treat our veterans with the honor they deserve.

Right to Life:

  • Life begins at conception. This is a non-negotiable issue with me.

Smaller Government:

  • Government at the state and federal level are out of control and grown beyond necessity. Government was established to serve the people; not the other way around.

Honor the constitution of the United States and the State of Alaska’s Constitution:

  • If it is in the US constitution, it is a federal issue; all other issues belong to the state government.[1]
—Steve St. Clair, [2]
