John Franchini
John Franchini was the New Mexico Superintendent of Insurance. He was appointed to the position in August 2010.[1] He retired from the position in December 2019.[2]
Biography
Franchini began his career in the insurance industry by joining Consolidated Agency, his father's independent insurance agency, while attending graduate school at the University of New Mexico. He purchased the business 10 years later, expanding it to four locations.
In 1998, he sold the company to Poe & Brown, and served as vice president. In 2002, Franchini joined New Mexico Mutual, where he would go on to become Vice President of Government and Industry Affairs.[3]
