Michael P. McAuliffe (Illinois)
Michael P. McAuliffe is a former member of the Illinois House of Representatives, representing District 20 from 1997 to 2019. He resigned on June 17, 2019, citing the desire to spend more time with his family.[1]
Biography
McAuliffe's professional experience includes working as an employee for the Illinois Department of Transportation from 1984 to 1997 and as a legislative aide to State Representative Roger P. Mcauliffe, Illinois.[2]

2014
Elections for the Illinois House of Representatives took place in 2014. A primary election took place on March 18, 2014. The general election was held on November 4, 2014. The signature filing deadline for candidates wishing to run in this election was December 2, 2013. Mo Khan defeated Jerry J. Acciari in the Democratic primary. Incumbent Michael McAuliffe was set to face Michael T. Yorty in the Republican primary, but Yorty was removed from the ballot on January 10, 2014, leaving McAuliffe unopposed. McAuliffe then defeated Khan in the general election.[10][11][12][13]

McAuliffe won re-election in the 2012 election for Illinois House of Representatives District 20. McAuliffe was unopposed in the March 20 Republican primary, and defeated Bruce Randazzo (D) in the general election, which took place on November 6, 2012.[14][15][16]
2010
McAuliffe won re-election to the 20th District Seat in 2010 with no opposition. He ran unopposed in the Republican primary on February 2nd. The general election took place on November 2, 2010.[17]
