Melissa Magstadt is a former Republican member of the South Dakota House of Representatives, representing District 5 from 2010 to 2015. Magstadt did not run for re-election in 2014.

Biography

Magstadt received her A.S. from Huron University, her B.S. and M.S. from South Dakota State University, and her MBA from Mount Marty College.

She has spent her career in the health care industry as a nurse and as an owner and consultant of a health care design management company.

Magstadt won re-election in the 2012 election for South Dakota House of Representatives District 5. Magstadt ran unopposed in the Republican primary on June 5 and won re-election in the general election, which took place on November 6, 2012.[1]
