Robert Klausner
Robert Klausner is a federal judge for the United States District Court for the Central District of California. He joined the court in 2003 after being nominated by President George W. Bush.[1]
Early life and education
Born in Los Angeles, California, Klausner graduated from University of Notre Dame with a B.A. degree in 1963 and a B.S. degree in 1964 before graduating from Loyola University of Chicago Law School with his J.D. degree in 1967.[1]
Military service
Klausner served in the United States Army from 1967 to 1969.[1]

- 1985-2002: Judge, Superior Court of Los Angeles County, California
- 1980-1985: Judge, Pasadena Municipal Court
- 1974-1980: Court Commissioner, Pasadena Municipal Court
- 1969-1974: Deputy District Attorney, Los Angeles County District Attorney's Office[1]
Judicial career
Central District of California
Klausner was nominated to the United States District Court for the Central District of California by President George W. Bush on July 18, 2002, to a seat vacated by Bill Keller as Keller assumed senior status. Klausner was confirmed by the U.S. Senate on November 14, 2002 on a Senate voice vote and received commission on April 9, 2003.[2]
