Allan Weisel was a candidate for the Region 3 seat on the Pennsbury Board of Directors in Pennsylvania. The seat was up for general election on November 3, 2015. There was a primary election on May 19, 2015. He filed to run in both the Republican and Democratic primaries. Allan Weisel won a nomination in the Republican primary and advanced to the general election.[1][2] Allan Weisel lost the general election on November 3, 2015.

Weisel earned a bachelor's degree in arts education from Edinboro University of Pennsylvania and a second bachelor's degree in finance from Robert Morris University. He also has a master's degree in counseling from Cairn University. He is the president of Weisel Associates, Inc. which offers professional representation to companies offering arts specialty retail products.[3]

Five of the nine seats on the Pennsbury Board of Directors were up for general election on November 3, 2015. There was a primary election on May 19, 2015.

In Region 1, T.R. Kannan (D) defeated David Gibbon (R). Gibbon was selected by the Republican Party as the replacement for Carla Neubaum who withdrew from the race after the primary election. Incumbents Jacqueline Redner, John Palmer and Gary Sanderson won election without opposition for the three seats in Region 2. Kim Hilty (D) defeated Annette Dearolf (R) for a two-year term left by former board member Debra Deblasio in Region 3. Christian Schwartz (D) defeated Allan Weisel (R) for a four-year term in Region 3. No independent candidates filed for the general election.[2][1][4]
