Benjamin Brooks was a 2012 Republican candidate for District 35 of the Georgia State Senate.[1]

Brooks ran in the 2012 election for Georgia State Senate District 35. Brooks was due to be unopposed in the Republican primary on July 31, 2012, but was disqualified on the morning of the primary for not meeting residency requirements.[2] Incumbent Donzella James (D) defeated Detrius Hill Jones and Cory Lynch in the Democratic primary. The general election took place on November 6, 2012.[1][3][4]
