Blaine Richardson was a 2016 Republican candidate for District 97 of the Maine House of Representatives.

Richardson was a 2014 independent candidate seeking election to the U.S. House to represent the 2nd Congressional District of Maine.[1] He was defeated by Bruce Poliquin (R) in the general election.[2]

Richardson announced on January 20, 2014, that he left the Republican Party to run as an independent.[3][4]

He was a 2012 Republican candidate who sought election to the U.S. House to represent the 2nd Congressional District of Maine. Richardson was defeated by Kevin Raye in the Republican primary on June 12, 2012.[5]
