An effort to recall Village Trustee Bob Rohde did not go to a vote in Pewaukee, Wisconsin. Signatures were not submitted by the deadline to do so.[1][2]

Recall supporters

Organizers initiated the recall effort after the village board passed an emergency services fee structure that assigns higher fees to senior living and care home facilities. Jim Cadd, the owner of Quail Pointe Apartments and the administrator of a group called Protect Pewaukee, said, "It doesn’t take a rocket scientist to figure out seniors use more ambulance rides but when I drilled down into these costs, they are not billing that amount and they are already charged individually so it turns out the seniors aren’t subsidized by the juniors in the village." [1]
