Brandon Harrison is a judge for District 4 Position 1 of the Arkansas Court of Appeals. He assumed office in 2013. His current term ends on December 31, 2028.
Harrison won re-election for the District 4 Position 1 judge of the Arkansas Court of Appeals outright after the general election on March 3, 2020, was canceled.
He was elected on May 22, 2012.
Harrison was appointed to a four-year term as chief judge of the Arkansas Court of Appeals by Dan Kemp, effective September 1, 2020. He served in this capacity until January 1, 2025.[1]
Education
Harrison earned his B.A. in psychology from the University of Arkansas and received his J.D. from the University of Arkansas School of Law in 2002.[2]
Career
Harrison clerked for U.S. District Judge D.P. Marshall Jr. Before his election to the court, he worked in private practice.[3]

Harrison ran for District 4, Position 1 judge on the Arkansas Court of Appeals. This seat was previously held by Judge John Robbins, who retired in 2012.[4] Harrison defeated Judge J.W. Looney in the primary election on May 22, receiving 52.63 percent of the vote.[5]
