What would be your top three priorities, if elected?

Secure future water resources. Control illegal immigration. Reform the school funding formula and school choice for parents.

What areas of public policy are you personally passionate about?

Securing our personal liberties. Government continues to control more of our daily lives.

Who do you look up to? Whose example would you like to follow, and why?

I highly regard President Ronald Reagan. He was for the U.S. Constitution, he loved God and his country. I was elected as a delegate to the Republican Convention in 1984 to reelect Ronald Reagan. Great communicator!

Is there a book, essay, film, or something else you would recommend to someone who wants to understand your political philosophy?

The book to read is, " A Miracle That Changed the World, The 5000 Year Leap". I read it once per year.

What characteristics or principles are most important for an elected official?

Honesty and of course conservative principles.

What qualities do you possess that you believe would make you a successful officeholder?

Passionate for protecting the U.S. Constitution and keeping government out of our lives.

What was your very first job? How long did you have it?

My first job was when I was in high school and I was a farm worker in orchard. Made a 1.60 per hour. Loved the work and being in the outdoors.

What do you perceive to be your state’s greatest challenges over the next decade?

Water.

If you are not a current legislator, are there certain committees that you would want to be a part of?
