Carlos Sherman
Carlos Sherman was a candidate for the District 6 seat on the Dallas Board of Trustees in Texas. He lost election against fellow challengers Lew Blackburn, Jr., Bertha Bailey Whatley, D. Marcus Ranger and Joyce Foreman in the general election on May 10, 2014. District 6 covers schools in southwestern Dallas.[1]
Biography
Sherman earned his bachelor's degree in communications from the University of North Texas in 1980. He worked as an account manager with Verizon for 24 years before retiring in 2006. Sherman served as the Vice President of Community & Faith-Based Affairs at North Texas Fatherhood Initiative from 2010 to 2013.[2]
