I am a lifelong resident of Mitchell County and have dedicated my career to the Sheriff’s Office, serving as a patrol deputy, detective, lieutenant detective, and now Captain. I am a certified law enforcement instructor and SWAT operator with advanced investigative and tactical training. I am committed to strengthening the community, building partnerships, raising standards, and protecting citizens. I have been married for 26 years and have three children. I am a proud Christian, a member of the Gideons, and serve as an adult Sunday school teacher.
  • Working toward state accreditation to elevate professional standards and increase transparency within the Mitchell County Sheriff’s Office.
  • Improving crime rates through effective enforcement, prevention, and responsible use of resources.
  • Strengthening partnerships with local businesses and community members to support long-term public safety.
I’m passionate about policies that keep Mitchell County safe and secure. That means upholding the law and protecting people’s constitutional rights, raising professional standards and transparency in the Sheriff’s Office, reducing crime, and working closely with residents and local businesses.
