Charles E. Graham (Mississippi)
Charles E. Graham was a Democratic candidate for Mississippi Secretary of State in the 2015 elections.[1] Graham initially qualified to run for state auditor on February 23, 2015, but switched to the race for secretary of state four days before the candidate filing deadline.[2] He was defeated by two-term incumbent Delbert Hosemann (R) in the general election on November 3, 2015.[3]
Biography
Graham is a retired firefighter and writer for The Clarion-Ledger. He also served as Hinds County Emergency Operations Center assistant director. Graham holds a degree in accounting from Jackson State University.[4]

Eleven state executive offices in Mississippi were up for election in 2015. The general election was held on November 3, 2015, following a primary election on August 4, 2015. Runoffs were scheduled for August 25 in case no candidate received a majority (50 percent plus one) of the popular vote in a given primary race.
Graham ran unopposed in the Democratic primary election and faced incumbent Delbert Hosemann (R) and Randy Walker (I) in the general election.[5][6]
