Charles E. "Terry" Stewart ran for a seat on the New York Supreme Court in the Ninth Judicial District. He was chosen by delegates of the Republican judicial nominating convention for the 9th Judicial District on September 22, 2009.[1][2] The election day was November 3, 2009.[3]
