Charles Lawrence
Charles Lawrence ran for the District 5 seat on the Atlanta Public Schools Board of Education in a general election on November 5, 2013.
Biography
Lawrence earned a B.A. from Howard University and started the Charles Lawrence Realty firm in 1988. He has served as a parent volunteer on the panel for Project Grad Atlanta, as the Vice President Howard University Alumni, as the recruitment chair for Howard University alumni, as a participant in the Atlanta Public Schools for Career Days for the past 15 years and volunteered in reading, book donations and father/son programs in APS. Additionally, Lawrence has written a book titled 15 things teenagers should know upon leaving high school!. He is married and has three children.[1][2]
