Colin D. Bennett
Colin Bennett was a 2016 Green Party candidate for District 36 of the Connecticut State Senate.
Bennett was a 2014 Green candidate for District 33 of the Connecticut State Senate.
Bennett ran unsuccessfully for District 33 in 2010.[1] The primary election was on August 10, 2010 and the general election was on November 2, 2010.
About
Bennett earned his undergraduate degree in Environmental Education from Southern Connecticut State University. He is a graduate student of Women's Studies at Connecticut State University.[1]

Elections for the Connecticut State Senate consisted of a primary election on August 12, 2014, and a general election on November 4, 2014. The signature filing deadline for candidates wishing to run in this election was June 10, 2014. Emily Bjornberg was unopposed in the Democratic primary, while incumbent Art Linares was unopposed in the Republican primary. Linares defeated Bjornberg and Colin D. Bennett (G) in the general election.[3][4]

Bennett was uncontested in the August 10 primary. He was defeated by incumbent Democrat Eileen Daily in the November 2 general election.
