Deborah C. Stevens is a circuit court judge for the Sixth Circuit Court, which presides over Knox County in Tennessee. She was appointed by Governor Bill Haslam on February 26, 2013, to fill the vacancy created by the retirement of Wheeler Armston Rosenbalm.[1] Stevens was elected to the court on August 7, 2014. Her current term expires in 2022.[2][3]

Education

Stevens received her undergraduate degree from Virginia Tech in 1976 and her J.D. degree from the University of Tennessee in 1980.[1]

Career

From 1998 until her appointment to the Sixth Circuit Court, Stevens was the president and managing shareholder of the law firm of Lewis, King, Krieg & Waldrop in Knoxville and Nashville, Tennessee.[1]
