Opposition

Three of the five seats on the Canton City Schools Board of Education were up for election on November 3, 2015. One of the seats represented District 2, and two seats represented the district at-large.

Incumbent Will Grimsley ran unopposed and won re-election for the District 2 seat. Corey Smith and Eric Resnick defeated incumbent Ida Ross-Freeman, Deloris Angeli and Cody Horner for the two at-large seats that were up for election. At-large incumbent Lisa Gissendaner did not run for re-election.[2][3][4]
