Derrick Terry
Derrick Terry was a candidate for an at-large seat on the Charles County Board of Education in Maryland. He lost election against incumbents Jennifer S. Abell and Michael Lukas along with 17 other candidates in a primary election on June 24, 2014.
Biography
Terry earned a bachelor's degree in mass communications and a master's degree in public relations from Towson University. He has been a member of the U.S. Air Force Reserve for the past 24 years. Terry is the owner and head consultant for Edvocare Consulting, LLC, which specializes in special and individualized education. He is also the author of I'm Not Complaining, I'm Just Sayin': Memoirs of the Good and Bad in the Education System. Terry and his wife have two children.[1][2]
