An effort to recall Dominick Cuozzo, a member of the township committee, did not go to a vote in Plumsted Township, New Jersey.[1][2][3]
Recall supporters
Recall organizers alleged that Cuozzo had discriminated against women and LGBTQ people. They also alleged that he had mismanaged taxpayer money. Recall organizer Sydne Phillips said of Cuozzo, "He has proven himself to be unprofessional, bigoted, cruel, uneducated in township matters, basic laws, tax spending and heavily biased in his voting."[1]
The recall committee included Republicans Ryan Kertis and Stacy Reed along with Linda Salcfas, a Democrat.[1]
