The Education Committee was a standing committee of the Florida State Senate. The Education Committee resulted from the merging of the Education Pre-K - 12 Committee and the Higher Education Committee during the 2013-2014 session. In the 2015 session, these committees were split again.

Function

Early learning (i.e., school readiness and voluntary prekindergarten), K-12 schools (e.g., elementary, middle, high), Higher/Post secondary education, Blind services and Vocational rehabilitation services.^[1]^[2]
